We’ve just confirmed that we’ll be opening for Canary Sing on April 29 out in the Richmond district of San francisco.

here’s the info:

All Ages!

Doors open at 7:30
Set by DJ Sky Valentine from 8-8:30
Live music from 8:30-10:30

$2 PBR all night!
$4 all other beer and wine!

Come early because the show ends at 10:30!

This is a free event!

AFTER PARTY at Hockey Haven two doors over from Zephyr Cafe!

We’ll almost definitely also be playing the next day (the 30th) at a BBQ/Fundraiser for the IWW in Berkeley. Not sure of the details on that, more info when we know.

North Coast tour

Just a quick update to let ya’ll know that we’ll be making a trip up the north coast in May from the 17th to the 24th. We currently have shows booked in Salem, Seattle, and Portland and are looking for shows, house parties, and good places to play on the street along the rest of the way from northern california to washington state. It’s still unclear how many of us are going to be able to make the trip but it’ll be at least lynx, laura, and cadence.

In the meantime, we’re hard at work on the new album. We have 10 tracks tracked or mostly tracked and a bunch more in progress. After the complete disaster that was the “Liberty” launch – we were rushed to get the album done in time for a tour and as a result didn’t get the best mixdown – we’ve decided to just let this one take as long as it takes. We’d rather have it come out perfect a month later then pretty good and right on time. So we’re aiming for May to have the tracking done.

We’re also looking at having a contest for ya’ll to get our fans, friends, and supporters involved in creating the art for this album. More details to come…

Beltaine’s Fire – Live at High Street Station

It’s been a few months since our last show and we’ve been hard at work writing new material and re-writing old material to work with our new lineup. It’s been a lot of work and time but the results are pretty damn amazing and we’re finally ready to show off our new sound.

We’ll be performing at High Street Station in Alameda on November 12th from 7-9pm. High Street Station is a great coffee shop and community space that showcases a great variety of bands. Fridays are their Irish music nights and while we’re hardly a trad irish group they were really enthusiastic about getting us in.

Due to the venue’s noise restrictions we’ll be starting promptly at 7pm and stopping at 9 so get there early or you’ll miss the show!
