Remember remember, the 22 of november…

Posted on November 23, 2010

because that’s the day we switched our online store over to bandcamp.com.  and while that may not be particularly memorable for most of ya’ll it’s a big deal for us because it means we were finally able to find a place that would let us set up our songs so ya’ll can name your own price and not take a huge cut off the top of every download.

In other news, our show at High Street Station in Alameda got bumped back to February and we’ve added a show in December – a benefit for Food not Bombs at Ashkenaz in Berkeley.

We’ve also been working hard on new songs and are in the final stages of writing for the new album.  Right now we’re aiming for either a May 1st or July 4th release.  We’ve got a few possible titles in mind but at the moment the front runner is “Anarchitechture”.

In the meantime, we’ll be releasing several of the tracks we’d recorded with Todd and Kater before they decided to move on as free downloads.  Those tracks won’t be included on the new album because we’ll be re-recording everything with our new lineup but it would be a shame to never release them so we figured we’d make it our Solstice gift to ya’ll.  Look for those to go up in the next week.

Oh, and if you haven’t already hit us up on facebook we’ve been using that a lot lately to send out messages about last-minute shows and the like.

solid ~
